We are licensed in three of our rooms for all kinds of civil wedding ceremonies, the rooms making an excellent choice to fit most sizes of wedding receptions, the cuisine provided by the Beaminster Brasserie, considered by many to offer some of the best dishes in Dorset.

In the summer, you can make use of our beautiful walled garden and alfresco dining area. In the winter, (we never close), gather round our roaring inglenook fireplaces, perfect for the smaller more intimate wedding.
'Bridge Exclusive' - your own Country House Party
Take over the whole hotel and make your wedding truly unique! This intimate country house hotel is the perfect venue to invite up to 100 friends and family to an exclusive weekend wedding party. With 14 ensuite bedrooms, we can accommodate up to 30*.
You and your closest guests can stay overnight, relax and enjoy a welcoming cocktail party, then barbeque or dine in our alfresco brasserie or restaurant. When you book 'Bridge Exclusive' we will provide the Bride and Groom with a Four Poster bedroom of their choice complimentary on their wedding night.
For guests who are staying with us, the bedrooms are individually designed, blending elegance and country chic with life's modern luxuries - Italian Frette linen, beautiful bathrooms with Molton Brown toiletries, flat screen TVs and wireless internet access.

THE CEREMONY
Take your marriage vows at BridgeHouse in any of our licensed rooms, or in the famous Mapperton Gardens or Forde Abbey nearby.
Alternatively, you can arrange a church service or blessing at St Mary's Church, Beaminster.

Prepared by our executive Head Chef, who is passionate about the freshest and best quality ingredients. Fish from Cornwall, scallops from Lyme Bay, crab from West Bay, organic meat and vegetables from across the county.

The Medieval Lounge
Civil Marriage and Civil Partnership Ceremonies
BridgeHouse has been granted a licence for Civil Marriage and Civil Partnership Ceremonies and has 3 rooms registered for holding them.
THE MEDIEVAL LOUNGE A spiritual and intimate room, the ceremony takes place in front of the 13th century inglenook fireplace. Suitable for small ceremonies up to 26 seated guests and very popular for wonderful cosy winter weddings.
THE CONSERVATORY Looking out on our ancient walled garden, a beautiful sunny room with seating for 42 and French doors leading to a patio area with a cream vaulted canopy. You will take your vows at a table dressed in white Italian linen strewn with fresh flowers and trailing ivy.
THE GEORGIAN RESTAURANTThe ceremony is conducted in front of the original Adam fireplace with candlelight reflecting against the French gilt mirrors adorning the walls. Seats 36.
A GARDEN BLESSING Set under our magical ivory vaulted canopy you can have your blessing enjoying the atmosphere of an outdoor garden ceremony. Your vows are taken under an arch flowing with flowers. Seating for 60.
