'Mastercrafts' Woodland Workshop - Woodcarving For All

Guy Mallinson runs a simply amazing woodcarving course in magical woodland near the hotel. Whether it's carving a bowl, totem pole or making a rustic chair, it's an unforgettable experience. Courses run for 2 or 5 days. Children can also join Guy - featured on BBC2's 'Mastercrafts series - for a single day. Courses run from April to November.
Having created her own 'rustic' bowl from a fallen tree with Guy, Jo can personally recommend this to all: 'It's not just about creating something very organic from scratch. It's the whole experience of working, eating and 'living' in a totally idyllic corner of West Dorset.
