An excellent Xmas 2007, stayed 6 days. Superb food and kitchen staff, excellent Chef, lovely menu, All staff very attentive, very good service, nothing was too much trouble to please or help. Very good rooms, serviced every day even over Xmas. Very Dog friendly. The Hotel should have Michelin Star or an AA rating of 5 stars.

Thank you for everything you have done for us over the past week. Being able to stay at a fantastic hotel with such a kind and tremendous team is what has turned such a horrible experience at home around for us. You have a first class reputation which is well deserved. The food was exceptional.

We have stayed at The Bridge House Hotel many times in the past, and it was the perfect choice for our first wedding anniversary.
We arrived on a rainy Friday night after a three hour journey, to be greeted with a smile and the offer of a drink to be brought to our room, so that we could relax and get ready for dinner.
Dinner on all three evenings was superb - the autumn menu offered a great choice of seasonal yumminess. Local produce used both in the evening, and for the excellent breakfast - super sausages!
Comfortable, spacious room, bright modern bathroom, robes, plenty of fluffy towels, everthing spotless and everything provided (even plasters on Monday morning following a long walk in socks with a hole!)
We have always found The Bridge House a very relaxing place to stay, the staff are friendly without being over-familiar, the service is professional without being stuffy. Can't wait to go back soon.

Good finishing touches especially Molton Brown and quality coffee both in room and with food.

My second stay (first in May 2004) with my mother aged 88. A standard room which was very spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated, smart bathroom. Before dinner, down to one of the two cosy sitting rooms, one with log fire, for drinks, peruse the menu and nibble delicious canape's. Through to dining room for a lovely meal, beautifully presented. Good breakfast in conservatory, then out to potter round Beaminster and buy a few Christmas presents, then drive along the coast road with fantastic views of Chesil Beach. Visit the Hive cafe on the beach in Burton Bradstock - not your average beach cafe! Abbotsbury is pretty with lovely gift shops, galleries. Can thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel.
