Charmed Christmas Celebrations 2014

Festooned with fresh flowers and greenery, and a glittering tree on the garden terrace, the scene is set for a magical Christmas. Relax and unwind by open log fires or explore beautiful Beaminster with its back street leading to walks along the Brit Valley river

Our resident ‘master chef’, Stephen Peilesz, uses his Michelin training to create the true taste of Christmas drawing inspiration from Dorset’s fabulous local produce and culinary traditions.

Christmas Eve

Arrive anytime from 3pm, settle in to your room and gently ease your way into the start of the festivities with a traditional Dorset Cream tea with freshly baked scones & homemade jam.

A warm welcome awaits you at 7pm in the bar for Kir Royale. A five course candle-lit dinner awaits in the Georgian panelled dining room. Then for those attending Midnight mass, enjoy a moonlight stroll to our Grade 1 listed, 15th Century church. Hot chocolate brandies are served on your return.

Christmas Day

Begin with a traditional Dorset breakfast served in the conservatory overlooking the ancient walled garden. Enjoy coffee and games by the fire or explore beautiful Beaminster – Hardy’s ‘Emminster’, A Champagne reception starts celebrations followed by a seven course gourmet lunch.
